When people hear the word ‘Hackathon’ a wave of intimidation spill over them.

 Hackathon is a codefest event where programmers, developers and tech enthusiasts come to collaborate together and create software solution sets ranging for few days. It’s a day long coding competition where you will find diversified brilliant minds and best ideas all under one roof. One eventually ends up honing his/her existing skills and acquiring new ones in process. All in all, hackathon is a win-win situation.

In coding world, there are countless opportunities to learn, collaborate and contribute to open-source projects and participate in such coding fest and competition. Such events are known by the name ‘hackathon’.

Hackathon are popularly known for their fast-paced and intense nature with participants working long hours to complete their projects/tasks. Also, they are characterized by showcasing collaborative and competitive spirits among brilliant minds proving best of ideas in the end. However, hackathons give developers and programmers free rein to be creative and build something awesome. One can create a web app, a website, chrome extension, designing hardware prototype and many such things according to the competitions. People get the opportunity to drill down issues and understand them to their very core and solving it technically and as well as smartly. Participants use their coding skills, creativity and problem-solving abilities to come up with solutions and build functional prototypes within the given time constraints in competitive environment.

IILM University, Greater Noida is organizing a Hackathon event on 28-29 April 2023, and its an exciting opportunity for you to show your skills in coding world.

IILM University invites everyone who are passionate about coding and developing new technologies and provides the best platform to showcase their skills and talent. The competition is designed in such a way to test participants skills and talent to complete the task or to solve the coding problems in limited time under pressure. Also, it will encourage you to work with people that you do not often work with, which eventually leads to wonderful ideas.

Participating in the hackathon is great way to gain exposure and recognition for your skills and talent. Hackathon also provides an edge by working on various soft skills such as communication, presentations, creativity, innovation, teamwork and opportunity to make friends and network other than your college. You can also develop practical experience in developing real-world software solutions.

The entry fee for the hackathon is 499 for early bird and the fee for late registration will be 799. This fee includes all the developmental costs including food and beverages. You can win cash prizes up to rupees 51,000/- and certificates. Certification for participants will also be provided. Participants should register fast to join this exciting event.
